Discount tyres, warehouse prices

Tyres

Passenger, SUV, ute, 4WD, light truck, trailer and machinery. Fitted and balanced on site in Burpengary, priced without a chain store markup on top.

The range

If it rolls,
Col can shoe it

Stock is ordered to your size rather than stacked in a showroom, which is a large part of why the price is what it is. Ring with the numbers off your sidewall and you will get a real figure, fitted and balanced, not a teaser.

Passenger and SUV

The everyday sizes, from small hatch through to family SUV. Budget, mid range and premium so you can pick where you sit.

  • 13 inch up to 22 inch
  • Budget to premium
  • Sold singly or as a set

Ute, 4WD and light truck

All terrain, highway terrain and light truck ratings for the work ute, the tourer and the tradie trailer.

  • All terrain and highway
  • Light truck rated
  • Load and speed matched

Fitting and balancing

Machine fitting and computer balancing done on site. Bring the whole car or just the wheels in the boot.

  • New valves fitted
  • Weights checked both planes
  • Torqued to spec

Puncture repairs

A nail in the tread is often a repair, not a new tyre. Col will look at it first and tell you either way.

  • Assessed before quoted
  • Plug and patch where safe
  • Honest write off if not

Trailer and machinery

Box trailers, camper trailers, ride ons and bigger gear. Skid steer tyres have come through the door more than once.

  • Trailer and caravan
  • Ride on and mower
  • Skid steer and plant

Supplied tyres fitted

Bought them online or off Marketplace? Bring them in and Col will fit and balance them for you.

  • Fit only pricing
  • Loose wheels fine
  • No lecture about it

Fitting and balancing

Balanced properly,
not just spun up

A tyre that is fitted but not balanced will shake through the steering at highway speed and chew the tread unevenly. Every tyre that goes on at GETWHEEL gets machine fitted and computer balanced as standard, with a new valve unless yours is a sensor.

  • Machine fitted Bead broken and seated on the machine, never levered on by hand.
  • Computer balanced Weights placed on both planes so the wheel is true at speed.
  • New valve fitted Rubber valves perish. A new tyre on an old valve is a slow leak waiting to happen.
  • Torqued to spec Nuts done up to the right figure, not rattled on with a gun and hoped for.

Straight talk

Three ways people buy tyres here

One tyre

Most common

A blowout, a nail through the sidewall, or one that has worn faster than the rest. Col will match what is already on the car so the pair stays even.

  • Matched to the existing pair
  • Fitted and balanced
  • Usually same day

Set of four

Best value

The cheapest way per tyre and the safest, because all four corners then behave the same. Ring the size through and Col will have them ready.

  • Best price per tyre
  • All four balanced
  • Done while you wait

Fit only

You supply

You found a deal somewhere else. Bring the tyres and the wheels in and Col will fit, balance and valve them without any grief about where they came from.

  • Loose wheels welcome
  • New valves fitted
  • Price per wheel

Prices change with size, brand and what is landing that week, so nothing is published here that could be out of date by the time you read it. Ring Col for a real number.

Questions

Tyre questions,
answered plainly

It is printed on the side of the tyre you already have. Look for a group like 225/45R17 94W. The first number is the width in millimetres, the second is the profile, the R number is the rim diameter in inches, and the last pair is the load and speed rating. Send Col that whole string and he can price it exactly. If you cannot find it, give him the make, model and year and he will look it up.

Yes. Plenty of people pull the wheels off at home and drop them in loose. It is often quicker and it means you are not sitting around waiting on a hoist.

Yes. If you picked up a set online or through Marketplace, Col will fit and balance them at a fit only price. Ring ahead with the size so he knows what is coming.

No, and Col will not pretend otherwise. If the puncture is in the tread area, is not too large and the tyre has not been driven flat, it is usually repairable. Sidewall damage and anything driven on while flat is a replacement, because a patched sidewall is not safe.

A standard set of four is usually done while you wait. Ring first with your size so the stock is on the shelf when you arrive rather than on a truck.

Ask. The reviews are full of people Col has stayed back for or opened up for on a public holiday. He cannot always do it, but a phone call costs nothing.
